From the somewhat funny start of the paintball gun being utilized for cattle ranches, it is now a game sport which all could have the best time knowing and learning its essentials. Naturally, before you can indulge yourself into this sport you have to know the parts which comprise the paintball gun. For a beginner, it will allow you to be better student when receiving instructions on how to play the paintball gun. And for a professional, knowing each part that a paintball gun comes with is crucial to be a success in the game. Paintball guns are available in different styles such as stock, semi-auto, full-auto, pistols, electronic, and pump types. Whatever it is that you are having, it is important to have appropriate knowledge of each paintball gun part. The basic parts of paintball gun The body Being the largest part, it is the body which is area where valve, bolt, and its trigger frame are integrated. These parts are detachable allowing you to incorporate new equipments, although it is more recommended that only experts should be handling this job. When it comes to the body part, paintball manufacturers have the same standard approach. The only difference that lies with the different types of paintball guns is the placement of the barrel and the trigger. The trigger frame is the part which you push forward so the balance of the paintball gun shifts. The hopper The part of the paintball gun which contains rounds of paints used as the marker. Hoppers come in a variety of styles such as stick-feed hoppers, agitation hoppers, gravity-feed hoppers, and force-feed hoppers. It is the hopper part of the gun which players found to have the most conflict with. No matter what style of hopper the gun comes with, the problem seems to lie in the fact that balls break in the containment. Gravity-feed type seem to be the most prone to breakage of the ball while still contained in the hopper due to jamming problems encountered. Ball breakages often result to jams from each feeding mechanism and this in turn leads to more ball breakages. The tank This is the paintball gun part which stores the gas used to propel the paint ball forward and out of the barrel of the gun. The gas used as the propulsion material typically comes in the form of high-pressure air (HPA) or carbon dioxide (CO2). CO2 came as the original gas used on paintball guns. HPA, on the other hand, is more preferred now because of its reliability feature which does not need evaporation system to fire. The barrel The barrel is the part which the marker travels down with after compressing the trigger. The design of the barrel is responsible for the speed, accuracy, and distance at which the paint ball travels. Longer and shorter barrels are the types available. Many marker owners have the tendency to choose longer barrel over the shorter one because of the former's ability to fire quieter. However, it is important to note that no matter what type chosen, the paint ball travels only at a set distance for it to break. And since longer barrels require large air burst in order to propel the paint ball faster, they may be more prone to be less effective than the shorter barrels.
