Steam Pressure Washers: Cleaning Advantages

Today, you will find a variety of pressure washers. Some pressure washers uses cold water, some uses hot water, while there are also pressure washers that uses steam to clean. You will also find pressure washers that use all three options. So, what kind of pressure washer should you get?

Well, for starters, if you need to remove very stubborn grease or stains, you will want to get the steam pressure washer. This type of pressure washer is a lot more effective than cold or hot pressure washers when it comes to cleaning.

First of all, you need to remember that pressure washers get their cleaning power by forcing water at a very high pressure across a particular surface, such as a concrete wall or a wood deck on your patio. With a pressure washer, the higher level of pressure there is, the more forceful the cleaning will be.

When it comes to cleaning with pressure washers, temperature levels will play a large role in determining the cleaning power. If the temperature of the water is higher, it will be a lot more efficient in cleaning.

For example, if you are going to clean your garage?s floor because of the grease and oil that leaked from your car, using a cold water pressure washer will make the job even more difficult as this will eventually harden the grease and make it waxy. The grease or oil will tend to stick more to the concrete floor which makes it even harder to remove even with the pressure washer.

On the other hand, if you use hot water or steam pressure washer, it will be able to effectively break down the grease and dirt. Hot water pressure washers are able to reach temperatures up to 210 degrees Fahrenheit while steam pressure washers will generate super heated steam up to 330 degrees Fahrenheit, which is a no-brainer on which on cleans better and more efficiently.

Steam pressure washers are usually used for industrial and commercial purposes. It is often used to clean restaurant kitchens, the surfaces of food facilities, and even the floors of malls and greased-covered equipments in factories.

If you are going to use a steam pressure washer, you have to remember that you should keep the nozzle aimed closer to the surface. Normally, in cold water and hot water pressure washer, you need to keep the nozzle from the surface by at least 14 inches. But, if you are going to use a steam pressure washer, you will want to keep the distance closer by up to 8 inches.

Lastly, if you plan on buying a steam pressure washer, you may want to consider units that generate wet steam. This will ensure a more effective and efficient cleaning.

As you can see, steam pressure washers are great cleaning tools that you can use. If you own a restaurant or you run a car repair shop, steam pressure washers are a must-have.

Just remember that you should always follow the safety precautions stated by the manufacturer. With this in mind, you can be sure that you will be able to do all the cleaning you need in your establishment effectively and efficiently.
